What is Crowd sourcing?

Crowdsourcing is where Seekers (those needing tasks done rapidly, efficiently and cost-effectively) seek the help of Solvers (those fulfilling the needs of a task) in a fashion where a single task is outsourced by seekers to a large crowd of solvers.  Ghigg offers crowdsourcing via www.ghigg.com/crowd/.  Note that ghigg.com and ghigg.com/crowd/ are two separate services and each has separate sign ups and associated account and transactions.

Can I be both a Seeker and a Solver with Ghigg Crowdsourcing?
Yes.  Anyone registering with Ghigg Crowdsourcing can be a Seeker as well as a Solver at the same time. There is no limit to the number of tasks that can be offered as a Seeker or the number of tasks that can be solved as a Solver.  It is important to note that each person or entity can maintain only one account on Ghigg Crowdsourcing.

Accepting a Task
A Solver is allowed to accept any given Task only once. Use of multiple accounts related directly or indirectly to a single person or entity and accepting any Task more than once is disallowed. Solvers should only accept jobs they are capable of finishing. Repeated acceptance of tasks and submission of incomplete or improper proof of task completion will lead to account termination. Further, Solvers are disallowed to utilize proxy servers or proxy IP.  Geo, IP and other related information is automatically captured and logged and will be continually monitored.

How and when do I get paid?
Solvers get paid when their Seeker rates the task submitted as "satisfied". When a Solver logs into the account, the status of each task submitted is detailed. If a task is reviewed as "not satisfied" by the Solver, you forfeit the earnings on that task. If a task is reviewed as "satisfied" you are eligible for payment on the task. Solvers can withdraw earned money utilizing one of multiple methods listed on the Withdraw section once the user is logged in.  Once a User becomes eligible for withdrawal, when the withdraw request is made, a PIN is sent to the User.  Upon validation of the PIN, the payment process triggers.  Depending on the mode of the payment request, payments can take up to 30 days when the withdrawal PIN validation is completed.  If the payment is via a bank check, and the check isn't received, it can take additional time to void the check and have a new one resent.  Checks received need to be cashed within 90 days.
